Chai Smoothie

A quick and easy vegan chai smoothie for a mid-afternoon pick me up.


1 cup of milk of choice (I used Almond, I used unsweetened Alpro Soya Almond milk here but my favourite brand is Vitariz almond or hazelnut is good.)

1 tsp cinnamon

3 cardamon pods (Remove the seeds and grind in mortar and pestle)

1 frozen banana

1/2 handful of mixed seeds/nuts

1-2 medijool dates (I had no dates this time so I used a few raisins)



Blend all together and enjoy!

You can add more or less milk depending on consistency desire)



  • Add berries, frozen or fresh.
  • Add vegan vanilla protein powder.
  • Add raw cacao and/or maca powder – Ishwari Maccacino powder is good for an energy boost!
  • Goji berries.
  • For a real treat a chilled shot of espresso!
