It will be a morning to relax, rejuvenate and stretch the body – followed by some vegan chai and sweet treats. ♥
10am: Introduction to sitting meditation/ breath exercises
10.20-11.45: Asana/posture practice based on the Ashtanga-Vinyasa system of yoga – Focusing on strenghtening the body, increasing flexibility and working deeply with the breath to facilitate movement and working through blockages within the physical body.
We will specifically focus on tightness in the hips during this workshop and helping to work through blockages in this area which affects the rest of the body.
11.45 – 12.20 pm: Yoga Nidra / Deep relaxation – A deeply rejuvenating pracitce which allows the whole body, mind, emotional and nervous system to completely relax and rejuvenate on all levels. This is a very powerful practice and the great thing is all you have to do is lye back and be comfortable and warm as I guide you through this nourishing practice.
12.30pm: Chat, Chai and vegan cakes.
